It’s 100 Million mark for Reliance Jio. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced at an event in Mumbai that Reliance Jio’s subscriber base has crossed the 100 million mark within 170. He thanked the first 100 million users describing it as an achievement of India and Indians. Mukesh Ambani also announced the new Reliance Jio Prime Membership plan.

Jio will begin tariff plans from April 1. Still All domestic voice calls to any nework will be free across india. There will be no roaming charges and not even blackout days.

“Reliance Jio Prime Membership programme will be available for only current Jio customers and for those who join us before March 31. All of these jio customers can enroll for the Reliance Jio prime membership for the full year for a nominal one-time fee of Rs 99. Reliance Jio prime members to enjoy happy new offer at Rs 303 a month.”, Said Mukesh Ambani.

“the Jio network will be present in nearly all cities, towns and villages of India and we will cover 99 percent of our country’s population by end of 2017. We have more than double the number of 4G base stations when compared to all those indian operators put together”, added Ambani.

Making some facts checks Ambani said that Reliance Jio has acquired roughly 7 users per second per day for 170 days, and the 100 million user base in less than six months represents an unprecedented level of acceptance for any tech company anywhere in the world so far.

On data consumption Ambani added that, Reliance Jio’s 100 million users make 200-crore minutes of voice and video calls per day, and consumed over 100 crore GB of data in the month of January. Ambani also said that the Jio network carries 3.3 crore GB of data per day, and 5.5 crore hours of video per day.

Well it will be interesting to see after 1 April, This statistics will remain same or not.
